Summer Fun!

This summer our theme is "Driven to Read!" The sign up dates for the summer program are June 2-6. We will have lots of activities for the younger crowd. The programs are for children 3* years old through 5th graders.
Our first fun activity will be a visit from Chicken Dog Productions. (http://www.chickendog.net/) Chicken Dog and Darren, his trained human, have appeared on David Letterman and other TV shows. They were voted Austin's Best Party Entertainer! Everyone is invited to the show on Tuesday, June 3 at 3:00 pm.

Holiday

The library will be closed for Memorial Day on Monday, May 26.
After June 9 the library will be closed on Fridays.
During the summer the library opens at 9:30 am .

Loving Gifts

The library has received wonderful gifts this year. Don Rummel gave
$ 1000 in memory of Jim Wilson and Don Raburn. Don said Jim and Don were the best friends in the world and this was the best way to memorialize his friends.
In addition, gifts in memory of: Glen Taylor, Ethyl Richards, Ilene Messer, Walter Fancher, Bob McAlister, LoRhea Morgan, Mary Nell Holton, Patsy Mitchell, and Priscilla Sullivan have been received.
Memorial gifts are a loving tribute to those who have passed from this life. Gifts can also be given to honor and recognize those people in our lives that have been an inspiration and a blessing.

Gifts in excess of $250 are recognized by plaques in the entry. A notification is sent to the family for any memorial.
